Welcome Back to School! I hope you all enjoyed your summer vacation. Classes begin tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Please ensure your child arrives at school by 8:45 AM so they can be ready to start class on time. We are excited to begin a brand new year in our new academic wing. With the expansion, we have the privilege of having single grade classes this year.
My name is Mrs. Jennie Barton. This is my 5th year teaching at GCS and I am excited to be the Grade One lead teacher this year. Throughout the year your child will learn and grow in various content areas with multiple teachers. More information on this will come next week.
Theme Verse:
This year our theme verse is Colossians 2:7 (NLT). “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony:
We would like to invite you to A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new GCS Phase One Expansion. The event will take place on Thursday, September 6th at 6:30pm at Grace Christian School. The event will begin with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony in the new atrium with tours of the new and updated facilities to follow. Throughout the evening there will be opportunities to give to the continued growth of GCS! We would love to see you all there.
