And just like that it’s the last week of October! Please take a few minutes to look ahead to next week.
In Flanders Fields
Over the past couple weeks, we have been studying Remembrance Day and the history behind this famous poem. As part of Remembrance Day ceremony, our class has been memorizing the poem to recite. In preparation, it would be helpful if the students take a few minutes at home to review the poem as well.
Christmas Concert
Hard to believe we are talking about Christmas concert already. A message was sent out on Friday regarding performance attire. Please refer to that email for necessary links. If you did not receive this, please let me know.
As many of you are already aware, Mrs. Wilting has sent out guidelines for this year’s Elementary Christmas Musical Production when it comes to dress code. She is asking that all elementary students wear black pants and long sleeve black shirts. We will be recording our performance again this year, and this will occur during the mid November. Mrs. Wilting has asked that all students pack their performance wear in a Ziploc bag, labelled with your child’s name, by November 9th.
