Greetings! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend spending time with loved ones. Let us remember, during our moments of plenty, Psalm 107:1 which says, “Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” I look forward to the week ahead after having this time to delight in the blessings God has given us.
This Week in Grade Two
Language – We will review compound words. We will also use the skills learned over the past two weeks to compose a mini writing assignment.
Math – We will practice adding dimes and nickels together.
Social Studies – We will continue learning about the Interior Plains region of Canada.
Spelling Quiz Announcement
With this week being a short week, our spelling test on list #4 will not take place till October 23rd (A week from this Friday). Please encourage your child to continue to write out their words twice each night in preparation.
