Week of March 9th in Grade 1
This week students are working on spelling list #17. Students will be sent home with a special homework project to help them be able to recognize and record temperature. Please help your child complete this daily and return on Friday. Our in-class Super Reader library will be open tomorrow for those who return their books.
Thank you to those families who have already donated hand sanitizer for our class to use in the past. If your family has not already sent some in, we would be very grateful for more as we will run out very soon.
Winter Carnival Theme Days
Monday: Pajama Day – Come dressed in your comfiest pajamas!.
Tuesday: Twin Day – Plan to dress the same as a friend or family member.
Wednesday: Holiday Dress Up – Dress in your favourite holiday attire.
Thursday: We will come up with an idea as a class for this day
Friday: Superhero Day – Come dressed as your favourite superhero.
Important Dates:
March 11th – Skating Day (Grades 1-3)
March 16th-March 20th – March Break (No school)
March 23rd – Classes Resume
