Well, wasn’t that an “interesting” week?! Hopefully, we will manage to squeeze in a full week of school and get caught up on activities and lessons that were rescheduled due to the two storm days last week.
What’s Going On
This week in Math, the students will learn about adding/subtracting measures (when the units of measure are different) and creating equivalent fractions. In Language Arts, we have been learning about subject and predicate and will be moving into identifying and creating simple, compound, and complex sentences. In Social Studies, we will continue our study of North America by researching its major industries and the main languages spoken.
Spring Photo Day
Monday, March 8th will be Spring Photo Day at GCS. Please mark the date, practice your smile, and come dressed for photos on this day.
Winter Carnival
March 8th to 12th will be this year’s Winter Carnival dates. Fun activities will be planned for the students each day that week. More information to come…
