We are into third quarter this week. As Mrs. Summerfield prepares to teach grade two after our February break, students will see her in the classroom more over the next two weeks. We will be working together to help make the transition smooth for Mrs. Summerfield and for our grade one and two students.
Test folders:
Your child’s test folder was sent home with them on Friday, please review the contents in the folder, sign it and return it with the tests. Grade two will notice that spelling list #16 was included in the folder. While I did not include the vocabulary words in your child’s grade this week, please take a look at the vocabulary section of list # 16. I have included a sheet with an explanation of how the vocabulary will be graded going forward. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Valentines Day:
Yes we will have a Valentines Day party on Tuesday, February 14th. There will be an opportunity for children to share Valentines with their classmates. I will email the class list out to everyone to allow time for families to prepare valentines if you would like.
