There are only four more days of school before our two week Spring Break!
This week, grade two will have Mrs. Summerfield as their teacher! We will begin the routine of grade one having their own classroom. When grade one students come to school in the morning, they will enter Rm. 302. Grade two will remain in Rm. 305. There will be times throughout the rest of the year, where the classes are combined such as in French and Bible, but grade one will now have their own homeroom. We are looking forward to this change and I am excited to work with Mrs. Summerfield to make this transition smooth for everyone.
Spelling
Grade one and two will have no spelling test this week. Each grade has been given their new list, but our test will take place once we return after the break.
Valentine’s Day
Grade one and two will be having a Valentines Day party on Tuesday, February 14th. If you would like, your child may send in valentines for their classmates. The list of students has been sent in an email to each parent. Students may bring in a treat to share with the class.

February 18th-March 5th – Canada Games/Spring Break
Monday, March 6th – Classes resume
