Hello Parents,
What a beautiful sunny weekend we had! I hope you all had a chance to get out and enjoy it with your family. Please take note of the following items regarding our grade two class this coming week.
This Week in Grade Two
Language: Students will continue to read “The Sword in the Tree”. They will also review phonics charts 11-13 and will work on spelling list # 23.
Math: Students will learn about the meaning of division, review multiplication, and learn metric measures of weight.
Social Studies: Students will continue the study of the Canadian Shield region.
Assessments this Week:
Wednesday: Math test
Thursday: Phonics test
Friday: Spelling Test # 23
Important Dates
- Friday, May 7 – PD Day (NO SCHOOL)
- Thursday, May 20 – Arts Coffee House (more information to come…)
- Monday, May 24 – Victoria Day (NO SCHOOL)
