Did anyone else wonder where April went? While it doesn’t feel much like the end of April outside today, May is creeping up on us quickly.
Family Interviews
Last week during class, we worked on narrative writing and discussed and practiced conducting interviews in preparation for our writing this week. Students were given sheets on Thursday with leading questions to ask a grandparent, parent, aunt or uncle (preferably an adult). Asking about an important event in their life, in detail, will help them create a true story with the family member as a main character. It would be ideal if each student had this completed for Monday in order to begin the writing process as I know it will take a few days to complete.
