What an incredible thing it is to realize that we have begun the month of March already!  We have two busy weeks ahead of us.  Please take note of the following upcoming events:

Ski Day at Brookvale

On Wednesday, March 4th, grades 3-8 + 10 will be heading to Brookvale for a day of skiing.  New permission forms were sent home on Friday and need to be returned no later than Tuesday morning.  Any payment that was made for the original first skiing trip (which was cancelled) will be applied toward this week’s trip.  Your child’s form has those details noted on it, and only the signed form is required.  If no payment was made for the original trip, then that would be due along with the new permission form.

Chocolate Bar Bingo (rescheduled from last week, due to inclement weather)
On Thursday, March 5, all GCS families are invited to Chocolate Bar Bingo from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. This will be a fun event for the whole family! Each person participating in Bingo must bring a full-sized chocolate bar to play.

This year’s event is hosted by the 2020 Jamaica Mission Team. Besides bringing a full-size chocolate bar, please plan to give a donation to help support the team as they prepare to minister to the people of Jamaica in May. This is not a GCS supervised event, so all children must be supervised by a parent to attend. We look forward to seeing everyone out Thursday night!

Skating Day #2

On Wednesday, March 11th, K-3 students will once again be going skating in the afternoon.  The students enjoyed themselves very much on their first outing!  Please remember to send in your child’s equipment on that day.

Ski Day #2

On Thursday, March 12th, we will be having our 2nd ski day field trip.  Another permission form will be sent home closer to the date of the outing, and forms and payment will be due shortly after that.
