By now you should have heard about the new app called Seesaw we are using in ESL. This app allows teachers, students, and parents to see their English language progress. Students are downloading their pronunciation practice videos, handwritten journals, label it practice, and other tasks daily. If you have not seen your student’s work… make sure you ask!
Don’t forget Moms & Dads class is starting THIS Saturday at GCS from 11:00 – 12:00! This is a great way to learn more English skills, meet new friends, and find out how to help your students with homework. Check out the attached calendar to see the topics that we will be learning.
With the start of fall, it is always good to remember to send your students inn with an extra jacket or sweater. The weather in PEI changes quickly.
Do not forget to check My School Management for upcoming assignments, projects, and quizzes for your students. This is also the place to see grades and missing assignments.
Did you know that there is a youth event every Friday night for grade 7 – 12 students from 7pm – 10pm at GCS. This is a great way for students to get to know other students and have fun!
