Hello GCS Grade 6 Family!
I want to again extend my gratitude towards the parents of Grade 6 students as they work with their children. You have been doing a fantastic job in a difficult and unpredictable set of circumstances. I am so glad to be able to partner with you this year!

Wednesday, May 6th is ‘Take a Stuffie to School Day’! Grab your favourite stuffed animal and work with them on school work! Send a picture of yourself to admin@gcspei.ca for a chance to be featured on social media!

Math – Lesson 123 – Measuring Angles in a Circle
LA – Non-Fiction: Reading and Vocabulary
Science- This week, with the help of their family, students are being challenged to create their own unique stop-motion videos. Check out Leah & Lauren’s stop-motion video for some inspiration.
French- Pages 55-56 Complete and post.
Physical Education – Remember to start recording your daily physical activity for this week. If you haven’t submitted last week’s activity log, go back and do that today.

LA – Non-fiction: 5Ws and a Summary
Social Studies- PEI Potato Industry
Wednesday:
Math – Lesson 124 – Constructing Angles in a Circle
LA – Non-Fiction: Fact vs Opinion
Bible – Students will watch a short video called, God’s Story: Peter Preaches. Please find this assignment in the activity tab, along with instructions of how to respond.
French – Pages 57 and 60. Complete and post. Do not do Pages 58 and 59
Thursday:
Math – Lesson 125 Constructing Circle Graphs + Lesson 126 Circle Review
LA – Grammar: Distinguishing Adjectives from Adverbs
Music – Stay tuned for Music Minute with Mrs. Wilting
Social Studies – None, extra math.
Friday:
Math – Quiz
LA – Grammar: Diagramming Adverbs
Art – Look for an Art Activity with Mrs. Arthurs
Science – Submit your stop-motion video.
