What a wonderful week we had last week with the Arts Coffeehouse, cookie-making in grade 4, and lots of fitness activities! Now, we look ahead to the freshness of spring.
Spring Photos
Say cheeese! This Friday all GCS students will have their Spring Photos taken. Typically, students who wish to have a photo taken with their sibling(s), the photographer can accommodate this request. Please send in a short note so I can coordinate this request with other teachers.
Mother-Daughter Tea
Calling all mothers, daughters, and grandmothers! Please join us at GCS this Saturday, May 12th, for a sweet treat, tea, and a craft. If you have a special person who is like a mother or grandmother to you, bring them along too. For full details on this event, please check out the form that was sent home with your daughter late last week or contact Mrs. Able at eable@gcspei.ca.

The grade 3/4 class has been invited to participate in an educational field trip on Friday, May 18. “Water School” is an interactive all-day educational presentation put on by The Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group and the Town of Stratford.
