Hello Parents,
Happy New Year! I pray that you had a relaxing time over the break with family. We are ready to begin the last four weeks of second quarter tomorrow.
Thank you for all the lovely gifts and cards that I received for Christmas. It is very much appreciated.
As we begin tomorrow with the fresh new snow that fell last night, please remember to bring appropriate winter gear for your child. Students should have warm mittens, hat, boots, snow pants, and jacket each day.
This Week in Grade Two
Language: Students will finish their novel study on “The Puppy Sister” by S.E. Hinton and begin to learn about adjectives and adverbs.
Math: Students will review carrying and learn the steps to solving a story problem.
Social Studies: We will begin our study of the Great Lake – St. Lawrence Region.
