Week of March 6th – 10th in Grade One

Hello Families,

I hope you all enjoyed your two week break.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.  As we prepare to resume classes tomorrow, please take note of the following announcements/reminders.

Primary Basketball Club

Students in grades 1 – 3 are invited to participate in this club each Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00, beginning Tuesday, March 7th through to April 18th.  Students must come prepared with a snack, water bottle, and appropriate clothing and footwear.

Cat/Dog Food, Toys, and Accessories

Two students in Grade 5 are collecting items for the Humane Society. If you feel like this is something you can contribute to, please send in any items after Spring Break. They will be collecting until March 14^th.

This Week’s Assessments

Wednesday, March 8th – Math Test

Thursday, March 9th – Phonics Test

Friday, March 10th – Spelling Test # 14

Important Dates

March 6^th – School resumes
March 24^th – PD Day (NO SCHOOL)
