Dear GCS Grade 6 Families,
Grade 6 had a great full week of school. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Orwell Corner on Wednesday where we learned about Island life over 100 years ago.
In Social Studies we started to formally research our debate topic. Students have been divided into affirmative and negative teams. We will continue this next week.
We concluded our discussion of perimeter in math this week. On Friday students were introduced to the concept of area.
