Hello parents,
Wow! I cannot believe it is the first of November, however the light dusting of snow yesterday did make it feel a little more real. We have had a beautiful fall season, and I have loved being able to teach your children for the last 8 weeks. This will be my final week as lead teacher of grade two. Time has truly flown by. Starting on November 9th, Mrs. Barton will take over as I prepare to start my maternity leave. While I wont be teaching, I will be in the classroom with Mrs. Barton on the 9th and 10th to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Mrs. Barton has taught both grade one and two at GCS for many years. She shows Christ to her students in peace and joy throughout the school day. Your children will continue to have a wonderful school year with Mrs. Barton as their guide. Feel free to email me if you have any questions over the next few weeks at cmacdougall@gcspei.ca
